TRICIA COLLINS

Over the last 11 years, Tricia has written, directed and starred in a wide variety of films, plays and television shows. From Science Fiction to diverse, female-driven action, Tricia balances her love of powerful dramatic feature films with stories that reflect diversity in the world around her. In 2018, Tricia’s short film Clinch received a nomination for Best Cinematography at the Richard Harris International Film Festival in Ireland and won for Best Actress at the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival. Tricia’s short films and plays have been presented at numerous festivals and received critical acclaim. In 2008, Tricia wrote, produced and starred in an internationally touring theatrical play Gravity, that opened the prestigious Caribbean Festival of the Arts in Guyana and Trinidad and was attended by the Prime Minister and President. Her work has been positively reviewed in the Vancouver Sun, Georgia Straight, The Courier, The Guyana Sunday Times and The Stabroek News. She is currently developing several feature films, television projects and a book adaptation of the novel When Fox is a Thousand by Larissa Lai.
